Biggest Parade to Date
Following the excitement of the 47th Annual Ocala Reindeer Run, Ocala continued its holiday festivities with an unforgettable Christmas Parade. According to parade organizer Sue Mosely, this year’s event was the largest in the parade’s history, featuring an impressive 152 units. The evening brimmed with community spirit, creative displays, and a shared sense of celebration that encapsulated the magic of the holiday season.
Parade Route & Festive Atmosphere
The parade kicked off at the McPherson Government Complex on 25th, where participants assembled and prepared their dazzling displays. From there, the floats and marching units followed the route toward Silver Springs Boulevard, turning west at the boulevard and continuing to NE 8th. The procession concluded at Tuscawilla Park, leaving a trail of smiles, waving flags, and festive cheer that enveloped the city streets in holiday warmth.
