What to Expect at the Event

The P.A.W. Chili Challenge & Hub-Cat Car Show is a free, community-driven event designed to bring people together while raising awareness for animal welfare. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Car Show Extravaganza

Calling all car lovers! The event will feature a car show open to all makes and models. From classic cars to modern marvels, there’s a category for everyone. Trophies will be awarded for various categories, including:

  • Best Classic
  • Best Modern
  • Best Engine
  • Best Paint
  • Best Interior
  • Best Theme
  • Best in Show
  • People’s Choice

Judging begins at 9 a.m., with winners announced at 2:30 p.m. If you’d like to enter your vehicle, registration is $20 per car, with all proceeds benefiting Sheltering Hands, Inc. and their mission to support feline wellness in Marion County.

Chili Challenge

Starting at noon, the chili challenge will heat things up! Local chefs and animal rescue organizations will serve up their best chili recipes. To participate in the tasting, guests can purchase a tasting pass for $8 at the event or in advance on the Sheltering Hands website. With limited passes available, be sure to secure yours early to savor all the delicious flavors.

Family-Friendly Fun

Beyond cars and chili, the event will feature activities for the whole family. Enjoy face painting, raffles, and more while connecting with fellow animal lovers. It’s a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones while supporting a meaningful cause.
