About the program

Redeemer Christian School was founded in 1999 as a ministry of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, a PCA congregation. The school sits on a 52-acre former equine veterinary campus on SW 87th Place in southwest Ocala.

Its youngest students are in the "Little Lions" program for K3 through K5. Three- and 4-year-olds can attend full days or half days, and before and after care stretch the day from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Students can stay through 12th grade, and the school accepts Step Up for Students scholarships.

Redeemer's board-approved 2026–27 schedule lists $8,600 a year for full-day K3 and K4 and $7,000 for half day, plus enrollment, security and application fees. VPK is not mentioned on the school's site.

Before you visit

Call ahead to ask about openings for your child's age, the current tuition and registration fees, and how faith is part of the day. If you plan to use VPK, apply for a Certificate of Eligibility through the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County before you enroll; the provider needs it to hold a VPK seat. Our tour checklist covers ratios, staff screening, safety and pickup rules.
