About This Event

A special event partnering with University of Florida's Veterinary Emergency Treatment Service and the Marion County Firefighters Benevolence Fund. The morning session (11am-12:30pm) offers a FREE educational event geared to prepare horse owners for emergencies, with veterinarians, firefighters, and first responders discussing equine emergency response and disaster preparedness. Learn about rescue tools and emergency preparedness, then stay for the Firefighter Appreciation polo match at 1pm. Perfect for horse owners and barn managers in the Horse Capital of the World.
