The McIntosh 1890s Festival returns to historic McIntosh, Florida, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., centered on Van Ness Park at 5822 Avenue F. The north Marion County tradition, which began in 1974, fills Avenue F, Avenue G and 4th through 8th Streets with more than 250 vendors of fine art, handcrafted goods, antiques and home decor under the town's moss-draped live oaks, along with live music by local musicians, food vendors, church-prepared meals and self-guided tours of historic sites. After Friends of McIntosh announced in January 2026 that it was ending the festival, the McIntosh Town Council approved a volunteer board to carry it on. Admission is free; the festival and town do not provide parking, but private property owners offer parking for a small fee. McIntosh is on US 441 between Ocala and Gainesville.
