What “Tall Timbers” Refers To
Tall Timbers RV Park
Tall Timbers RV Park is a private RV park and mobile-home community located on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. It includes approximately 150 RV sites and 40 mobile-home sites, a clubhouse with library, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a small lake with a fishing dock, an 18-hole mini-golf course, weekly activities, and 24-hour security. It is gated and primarily serves residents and registered guests rather than the general public. It is not a Marion County or City of Ocala park.
Tall Timbers Residential Area
“Tall Timbers” is also used to refer to a residential area near Silver Springs in eastern Marion County. The neighborhood has no public park facilities open to general visitors under that name.
