Editor’s note (May 2026)

An earlier version of this page described “Centennial Trail Ocala” as a paved multi-use trail for walking, jogging, and cycling, connecting neighborhoods across the city. We could not verify a paved trail by this name in Ocala or Marion County. The only “Centennial” trail in the Marion County area is the Ocala Centennial OHV Trail — a 47-mile loop of off-highway vehicle trails in the Ocala National Forest, used by ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles. That trail was named for its dedication in 2008, during the City of Ocala’s centennial year. The page has been rewritten to redirect to that real OHV trail and to verified paved multi-use trails in the area.
