St. John Lutheran School shares its SE Lake Weir Avenue campus with St. John Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The early childhood program takes 3- and 4-year-olds in K3 and K4 classes, and children can stay on the same campus through high school.
Classes combine Bible stories and weekly chapel with reading, number and motor-skill work aimed at kindergarten readiness. Families choose full days or half days, five days a week, or three full days.
The 2026–27 fee schedule lists $7,750 for five full days and $5,750 for half days or three full days, plus a $550 enrollment and security fee. Church members get 20% off. The school does not mention VPK on the pages we checked, so ask the office if you plan to use a VPK certificate.
Before you visit
Call ahead to ask about openings for your child's age, the current tuition and registration fees, and how faith is part of the day. If you plan to use VPK, apply for a Certificate of Eligibility through the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County before you enroll; the provider needs it to hold a VPK seat. Our tour checklist covers ratios, staff screening, safety and pickup rules.
