Vanguard has won both Marion Athletic Conference titles again and swept District 3A-3, and the season now moves to the FHSAA regional meets on Nov. 11-14 and the state championships in Tallahassee on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026. This page collects our race reports, the official postseason calendar and the district each Marion County school runs in. It will be updated as regional and state results are posted.

FHSAA Cross Country Postseason 2026
Dates and prices below come from the cross country page of the Florida High School Athletic Association, checked Nov. 5, 2026. Each class and region has its own regional host, date and start times on the FHSAA's region sites list.
District meets
Monday-Saturday, Nov. 2-7, 2026 · Admission $8

State meet site
Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee hosts the state championships. The FHSAA posts a course and spectator parking map and a race schedule on its cross country page, and the meet streams on the NFHS Network.
State meet tickets
The FHSAA sells state meet tickets only through GoFan, with no onsite sales: $13 per day in advance or $16 the day of. The $2 parking fee is included in each ticket.

When is the 2026 FHSAA state cross country meet?
The FHSAA lists the 2026 state championships on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. Admission is $13 per day bought in advance or $16 the day of the meet, sold only through GoFan, and the $2 parking fee is included in each ticket.

Vanguard won both team titles on Oct. 24, 2026, at Belleview High School: the boys for the 28th straight year and the girls for the 24th. Christopher Taylor won the boys' race in 16:30.0 and Lyla Hallick led a perfect 15-point girls' sweep.
Who won the 2026 District 3A-3 cross country meet?
Vanguard won both District 3A-3 titles on Nov. 4, 2026, in Brooksville. Lyla Hallick won the girls' race in 18:28.0, and Trinity Catholic was second to Montverde Academy in both 2A-3 races.
Which FHSAA district does each Marion County school run in?
For 2026-27, Vanguard, Belleview, North Marion and Lake Weir are in District 3A-3; Forest, South Marion and West Port are in 4A-2; Dunnellon and Trinity Catholic are in 2A-3; and St. John Lutheran and Redeemer Christian are in 1A-3.
