The Junk in the Trunk community yard sale returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at 13940 US Highway 301 in Oxford, just south of Brown's Country Market and a short drive south of Ocala. Billed as one of the area's largest community yard sales, the event fills the main parking lot with more than 200 sellers offering clear-out and yard-sale items that change every time. A variety of food trucks are on site for shoppers and sellers throughout the morning. The sale draws bargain hunters from across Marion County and the surrounding area.
Brown's Adventure Farm hosts Freedom on the Farm, a Fourth of July celebration marking America's 250th birthday, on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 13940 US Highway 301 in Oxford. Organized with Galaxy Home Solutions and other local businesses, the evening features live music from The American Stones, an 18-minute fireworks show, and more than 30 children's activities including free face painting and Old West gunfight reenactments. A variety of vendors, food, and drinks are available for purchase. Admission is just $2.50, making it an affordable Independence Day outing a short drive south of Ocala and Marion County.
