Wawa is now open at 14700 S Hwy 441 in Summerfield, at US 441 and SE 147th Place in southern Marion County. Wawa's store page lists the location as store #5473, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with posted fuel prices. The store's Google Business Profile, checked Oct. 21, also shows it open 24 hours. Wawa has not published an opening date for the store.

What Does the Summerfield Wawa Offer?

Wawa's store page lists fuel, online ordering, curbside pickup and propane exchange. Its posted fuel grades are unleaded, plus, premium, super, a grade labeled xEthanol and diesel. The store page also promotes Wawa's made-to-order hoagies, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, lattes and smoothies. Google shows two listings at the address: one for the store and one for the gas station.

How Did the Store Get Here?

Marion County's development review records track the project as Major Site Plan #30312, described as a "WAWA Convenience Store - Summerfield 441 & SE 147th PL" on Parcel 4593-006-001. According to the county's submittal summary report, Native Engineering applied on June 19, 2023, and county reviewers approved the site plan in November 2025.

In July 2026, the applicant asked the county's Development Review Committee to extend the plan's expiration by one year, from Sept. 9, 2026, to Sept. 9, 2027; the county report notes the extension was approved. The next month, the applicant requested a waiver from redoing the boundary and topographic survey. According to the waiver request on the committee's Aug. 10, 2026, agenda, the plan change was triggered only by SECO's removal of existing trees in the planned landscape buffer, and the revision was limited to updated tree mitigation and replacement trees. The request said the project was "nearing construction completion." The revised plan was approved Aug. 26, 2026.
