What will Capstone's high school program offer?

Capstone's high school page is built around dual enrollment. The school says students can graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree, meaning 60 or more college credits, and start at a university with two years already done. The page describes the curriculum as a mix of honors-level coursework and college courses taken alongside Capstone faculty, in a faith-based setting with small classes. It says space is limited because of those class sizes.

How much does Capstone Academy cost?

The school's 2026–27 tuition and fees page, with rates effective June 1, 2026, lists:

  • Registration: $450 a year for all students

  • Kindergarten through 8th grade (7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.): $10,980 for 36 weeks, or $1,098 a month

  • PreK3 through junior kindergarten (7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 52 weeks): $1,098 a month or $265 a week

  • Books, materials and testing: $595 a year for K-8; $495 for PreK3 through junior kindergarten

For families using a Step Up For Students scholarship, the page estimates out-of-pocket tuition of $2,803 for kindergarten through 3rd grade, $3,383 for 4th through 8th grade and $3,534 for 9th through 12th grade, before registration and book fees. Those figures are the school's estimates after the expected scholarship amount.

Where is Capstone Academy now, and how is it accredited?

The current campus is at 7794 SW 60th Ave. in southwest Ocala. The homepage says the school's newer elementary building has 10,500 square feet of indoor space, and its preschool building has 5,000 square feet plus more than 12,000 square feet of fenced playground. The school is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families to run a preschool for children 36 months to 4 years old.

Capstone's accreditation page lists the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), APPLE accreditation for the preschool, a Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Accreditation inspection certification, and Gold Seal Quality Care status.

How do families apply?

The admissions page lays out four steps. Families fill out an online inquiry form, then an admissions team member schedules an in-person tour. The student spends a full day at the school for a visit and assessment, and the family meets with the admissions committee to go over the results.
