When is the Rock the Country festival in Ocala?
Rock the Country is a touring country and rock music festival, produced by Peachtree Entertainment, that has stopped in Ocala every year since 2024. Rock the Country 2026 in Ocala was Friday and Saturday, August 28-29, 2026, at the Florida Horse Park, 11008 S Hwy 475, one of seven stops on the 2026 tour. As of October 21, 2026, the festival had not announced 2027 dates, so check the official festival site for next year’s schedule and tickets.
Rock the Country is a traveling festival that brings big-name country and rock acts to smaller towns. Ocala has been on the route every year so far: at Majestic Oaks in 2024, then at the Florida Horse Park in May 2025 and late August 2026.

Rock the Country 2027: what's known so far
Nothing official yet. As of October 21, 2026, the festival's website still lists only the 2026 tour, with no 2027 cities, dates, lineup, or tickets. Any site already selling "2027 Rock the Country tickets" is not the festival.
The festival's Ocala ticket store, rockthecountry-ocala.frontgatetickets.com, was showing no tickets when we checked it on October 21, 2026, only a link to hotel packages. For a sense of timing: after the 2025 shows, the official homepage still thanked fans for the 2025 tour on December 3, 2025 (archived copy), then posted the 2026 lineup and a presale sign-up by January 12, 2026, with tickets on sale Friday, January 16. The festival has not said whether 2027 will follow the same calendar.

Rock the Country tickets: how to buy, tiers and prices
Always start at rockthecountry.com and follow its ticket buttons. For the 2026 Ocala show those went to the festival's Front Gate Tickets store, rockthecountry-ocala.frontgatetickets.com, which also sold camping and parking. Military, first-responder and student tickets had their own official links on the Ocala page, and hotel packages were sold through the festival's partner Jampack.
The 2026 policy said all purchases were final and non-refundable, and tickets could not be transferred, so a resale ticket may not get you in. When 2027 tickets go on sale, they will be linked from the official site.
How buying worked in 2026, step by step
- Watch rockthecountry.com for the lineup. In 2026 the homepage posted the full tour lineup and a presale sign-up by January 12, 2026, and said tickets would go on sale Friday, January 16.
- Buy from the Ocala page on rockthecountry.com. Its “Buy Now” buttons go to the festival’s Front Gate Tickets store; military, first-responder and student tickets go through FEVO; hotel bundles go through Jampack.
- Buy early in the tier, not necessarily early in the year. Each price level is a limited allotment, and when it sells out the next, higher level opens. A “Rock Now, Pay Later” plan let buyers start with $2.50 down and pay monthly.
- Add parking and camping separately. Neither is included with a festival ticket, and festival admission is not included with a campsite.
- Watch the mail. GA, GA+, VIP and Front Porch tickets are RFID wristbands mailed about 5 to 30 days before the festival. Activate it through the link on the official Ocala page; a registered wristband also works for the festival’s cashless payments.
- If something goes wrong, the box office usually opens around 10 a.m. each show day and accepts a driver’s license or government ID. The Florida Horse Park does not sell or service festival tickets.

How 2026 prices moved during the sale
We compared archived copies of the official Ocala page with the live page. General admission and GA+ got cheaper as the show approached, while weekend VIP went up. The festival also ran a limited-time "Pump Relief" code (10 a.m. April 15 to 12 a.m. April 23, 2026) that cut weekend GA to $99 and single-day GA to $59. So in 2026, buying in January did not lock in the lowest GA price.

The 2026 poster also billed a new Raised Rowdy Stage and daily throwback happy-hour DJ sets. The festival's FAQ describes the Raised Rowdy stage as the second stage in a new Fan Zone, which campers could also use for food and the general store.
Camping, rules and what to bring

Camping
- RV sites (50 amp, 30 amp, or no hookup), 25 by 50 feet, up to 8 guests.
- Car-and-tent sites, 20 by 20 feet, up to 4 guests.
- Each site covered three nights, the day before through the day after the festival. Festival tickets were separate.
- Check-in was Thursday 8 a.m. to midnight and Friday 6 to 9 a.m.
- Campers got re-entry, a general store, and the Fan Zone stage. Showers were $10 each.
- 2026 starting prices: car-and-tent $330; RV with no hookup $720, with 30 amp $1,080, with 50 amp $1,200. An extra-vehicle pass was $72. Premium 50-amp RV sites closest to the festival entrance ($1,680 in January 2026) sold out.
- Water and waste hookups were not included; campers booked those services online about four weeks before the show.
- Quiet hours ran 2 to 8 a.m., and campsites had to be cleared by noon Sunday.
Entry rules
- All ages; everyone needed a ticket, and children 2 and under were free.
- If you weren't camping, one entry per day: leaving the grounds, even for the parking lot, meant no re-entry that day.
- Bags didn't have to be clear, but every bag and guest was searched.
- The festival was cashless (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and RFID wristbands).
- Free water stations, and an ADA viewing platform with a wheelchair ramp.

Getting there and parking
Florida Horse Park, 11008 S Hwy 475, Ocala, FL 34480, in southern Marion County.
From I-75, Exit 341 is signed for the Florida Horse Park. Follow the park and event signs from there.
Parking was paid in 2026 ($60 for the weekend, $36 for a single day) and sold with tickets. ADA parking was first come, first served. The festival said parking usually opened around noon, with gate and set times posted one to two weeks before the show.
