Friends of the Christmas Parade has announced “A Red, White, and Blue Christmas” as the theme for the 71st Annual Ocala Christmas Parade, in honor of America's 250th birthday.

The free parade starts at SE 25th Avenue and SE Fort King Street, runs about 1.6 miles west along E Silver Springs Boulevard, and ends near Tuscawilla Park. The 2026 theme is “A Red, White, and Blue Christmas.”

Reindeer Run
The 49th Annual Ocala Reindeer Run, part of the Run Ocala Race Series, takes place the afternoon of Saturday, December 12, 2026, at NDS Global in downtown Ocala, ahead of the parade's 5:30 PM start.

Time: Rudolph Dash 4:10 PM; 5K 4:20 PM
Location: NDS Global, 512 E Silver Springs Blvd
Cost: 5K $40 (increases November 1); Rudolph Dash free
Organizer: Run Ocala Race Series, presented by the Gaekwad Family
Walkers are welcome and a virtual option is offered. Every 5K finisher earns a medal, and runners who register by December 1 are guaranteed a race shirt.
