What Sports & Fitness Are Available in Ocala, Florida?

Run Ocala hosts the 5th annual Labor Day 5K on Monday, September 7, 2026 at the Baseline Road Trailhead, 4255 SE 58th Ave in Ocala. The 5K run starts at 8:00 a.m., with race-day packet pickup beginning at 7:00 a.m. Registration is $35, and the first 100 finishers receive a special finisher prize, with age-group awards two deep from ages 0-9 through 70 and over. Dogs are not permitted on the course, though leashed pets are welcome to spectate. The trailhead sits on the Marion County side of the Cross Florida Greenway southeast of downtown Ocala.
