BJ's Wholesale Club Sets Friday, Oct. 23 Opening for Its Ocala Club on SW 59th Avenue

BJ's Wholesale Club will open its first Ocala club on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. The company's Ocala membership page reads "Opening 10/23/26 in Ocala, Florida," and BJ's club page lists the warehouse club at 7030 SW 59th Ave., Ocala, FL 34476, phone 352-830-6380. The club's Google Maps listing shows the same address and phone number.

BJ's first named Ocala as one of five new club locations in a May 22, 2026 press release, alongside Frankfort, Ky.; Lecanto and Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Portage, Ind. The company said the new clubs would bring its Florida count to 46 and that it planned to open 12 new clubs in its 2026 fiscal year. As of Oct. 18, BJ's newsroom had not posted a separate release about the Ocala opening.

$2 gas for one day on Oct. 21

The on-site BJ's Gas station is starting before the club itself. BJ's Ocala pages advertise a one-day offer on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, when all members pay $2 a gallon for regular gas at BJ's Gas in Ocala from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The offer is limited to regular gas and 30 gallons, and the fine print notes that state law restrictions apply.

The club page lists regular BJ's Gas hours as 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Club hours not posted yet

As of Oct. 18, the club page still said, "This Club will be opening Fall 2026," and did not list store hours for the warehouse itself. BJ's has posted hours for the gas station and an optical department phone number, 352-830-6382. Only In Ocala will add club hours when BJ's publishes them.

The club page lists these features for the Ocala location: apparel and footwear, a bakery, beer and wine, liquor, a delicatessen, gas, lottery, optical, a tire center, curbside pickup, pickup in-club, same-day delivery and ExpressPay, BJ's scan-as-you-shop checkout in its mobile app.

Membership offer through Oct. 22

Shopping at BJ's requires a membership. Until Oct. 22, 2026, the Ocala membership page lists a new-member price of $40 for a year of BJ's Club (regularly $60) or $80 for a year of BJ's Club+ (regularly $120), each with BJ's Easy Renewal, which charges the then-current fee each year until it is cancelled. The fine print says the offer is for new members and is valid online at BJs.com/Ocala only.

New members also get an opening bonus that applies at the Ocala club only. During the first 90 days after the club opens, a single transaction of $100 or more (after discounts, before tax) earns a $10 reward for Club members or a $15 reward for Club+ members. The page limits it to one qualifying transaction a day and 15 in all, and each reward must be used within 30 days. Gas, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, membership fees and several other categories do not count toward the $100.

Two addresses on BJ's pages

BJ's own pages show two Ocala addresses. The club page and club locator list the club at 7030 SW 59th Ave. The membership page says, "We've moved!" and directs people to join online or sign up in person at "the BJ's Ocala Club" at 7351 SW 60th Ave., Ocala, FL 34476, open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. BJ's does not explain the difference on either page. Both are in ZIP code 34476, and the club's Google Maps listing uses the 7030 SW 59th Ave. address.

Opening day falls on Early Black Friday

The opening date lines up with a companywide sale. BJ's said in an Oct. 15 press release that its Early Black Friday deals begin Oct. 23 in clubs and online, with discounts on toys, TVs, electronics and home goods.

Until the Ocala club opens, BJ's club page lists the nearest other locations as Lady Lake (13585 NE 86th Path, about 19 miles away, 352-829-4535) and Lecanto (3503 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy., about 22 miles away, 352-677-4445).

BJ's Wholesale Club is not related to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, which has no Ocala location; see our BJ's Restaurant guide. For the club's address, phone, gas hours and membership details in one place, see our BJ's Wholesale Club Ocala page.

BJ's is one of several large retailers with plans on Ocala's southwest side, including the Target site plan approved on SW 80th Avenue. Our new businesses in Ocala page tracks openings and closings, and the Ocala shopping guide covers the stores open today.
