The concept is simple: take a book, leave a book. But the impact on local literacy and community connection is significant.

What Are Little Free Libraries?

Little Free Libraries are small, weatherproof boxes filled with books that anyone can borrow or contribute to at any time, with no library card or due date required. The movement started in 2009 in Wisconsin and has since grown to more than 150,000 registered libraries worldwide, with dozens located right here in Marion County.
