Grandview Invitational — Day 2 at Florida Horse Park

Florida's Premier Draft Horse Show continues today with Percheron Ladies Cart, Clydesdale Team, Belgian Unicorn, the Florida All Breed Six Horse Hitch Championship, and youth classes. Up to 100 Clydesdales, Belgians, and Percherons compete in hitch classes that showcase the power and grace of these one-ton athletes. Gates open at 8:00 AM with shows starting at noon. General admission: $25/day or save with a 3-day pass for $50.

Los Lonely Boys at Reilly Arts Center

Grammy-winning Texican rock and roll band Los Lonely Boys brings their signature blend of rock, blues, and Tejano to Ocala tonight. Known for their smash hit "Heaven," the Garza brothers deliver electrifying live performances that cross genre boundaries. Showtime: 7:30 PM.

Grandview Casino Night

Miranda Madison Jazz Performance

Grandview Invitational — Championship Day

The grand finale of Florida's Premier Draft Horse Show features the Horse Capital of the World All Breed Six Horse Hitch Championship, Clydesdale Ladies Cart, Belgian Team, Percheron Unicorn, Youth Cart Class, and All Breed Four Abreast. Arrive early to tour the stables and get up close to these 1,600–2,200 pound horses. Gates open at 8:00 AM, shows at noon.

Little Shop of Horrors at Ocala Civic Theatre

Ocala Civic Theatre presents the beloved darkly comedic rock musical about Seymour, Audrey, and a very hungry plant. Featuring a doo-wop score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, this production runs through February 7 with evening and matinee performances. Tonight's show: 7:30 PM. Tickets: $17–$40.

World-Class Show Jumping Coming to Ocala Next Month



Mark your calendars: the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Ocala arrives at the World Equestrian Center February 7–15, bringing Olympic-caliber athletes and a $300,000 Grand Prix under the lights on February 14. Later this spring, the Longines League of Nations (March 17–22) features 10 national teams competing for over $1.4 million in prize money. Both events offer free spectator admission. Vanguard High School Pilots Farm-to-School Lunch Program



A new pilot program at Vanguard High School is serving students 100% locally raised and processed Fort McCoy Beef through a "30-mile" food system. The "Cowboy Smashburger" launched January 20, demonstrating that fresh, local food can be the standard for Marion County students while keeping school food dollars in the local economy. Read more.

Habitat Ocala Strawberry Festival — March 7



The 12th Annual Habitat Ocala Strawberry Festival returns to the McPherson Complex with over 235 vendors, live music, a kid's zone with petting zoo, BMX stunt shows, an auto show, and fresh Plant City strawberries. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity of Marion County's mission to address affordable housing needs. Free admission; $5 parking.
