What Is on the Thanksgiving Buffet?

The buffet booking page lists carving stations with cider-brined turkey breast and herb-crusted prime rib, plus honey-glazed ham and Faroe Island salmon. Sides include Yukon Gold whipped potatoes, sweet potato gratin with pecan streusel, brioche stuffing with fennel sausage and apple, wild rice pilaf and creamed corn. The menu also has a charcuterie display, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, butternut squash bisque, several salads and a dessert table that includes brown butter pumpkin cheesecake. Menu items are marked for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-friendly, dairy-free and nut-containing dishes.

The page says seating is limited and reservations are required. It also says prices are subject to a 15% increase 72 hours before the event, and no refunds are given within 48 hours unless WEC cancels for weather. Self-parking is free in the garage across from The Equestrian Manor.

How Does Thanksgiving To Go Work?

The Thanksgiving To Go order page lists cider-brined turkey breast and maple-glazed ham, brioche stuffing, whipped potatoes, sorghum Brussels sprouts, creamed corn, sweet rolls, and pumpkin and apple pies. Meals are packed cold with warming instructions. They do not include flatware or serving utensils.

Orders close Sunday, Nov. 22. Pickup is Wednesday, Nov. 25, in The Equestrian Manor lobby, in 30-minute slots from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices include gratuity; tax and online service fees are extra. Add-ons include a charcuterie board ($95, serves 6 to 8) and three wines priced $40 to $75 a bottle. Guests can note dietary needs when ordering.

Stirrups and the Resort's Other Restaurants

Stirrups Restaurant's Thanksgiving reservation page on OpenTable lists a multi-course prix fixe at $160 per person, prepaid in full when booked, with a 2% OpenTable fee, 20% gratuity and tax added. WEC's announcement says the menu starts with roasted heirloom squash and grilled lobster tail, followed by a choice of entrée and pecan mud pie. The page says the prix fixe is the only menu that day, with no regular dinner service or separate children's menu, though it also lists a $26 Thanksgiving Children's Menu as a booking add-on. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are not refunded.

WEC also says seasonal dishes will be served around the resort: truffle-roasted turkey at Genievieve's, salted-caramel apple pie at The Polo Pony and brown butter pumpkin mousse at Yellow Pony Pub & Garden. The announcement does not list separate Thanksgiving hours for those restaurants. Menus are subject to change.
