About This Event

Literary salon in Studio A exploring playwright Robert Harling's 1987 dramedy Steel Magnolias, which he wrote following his sister's death. Discussion of the play's origins, cultural impact, and transformation into an internationally recognized classic. Hosted by R.J. Jenkins of the Marion County Literacy Council. No reading required. Limited capacity. RSVP required by 9 PM Friday March 20.
