The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) brings its 3D mobile mammography bus to the Silver Springs Shores Community Center, 590 Silver Road in Ocala, on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The department's Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides free or low-cost breast cancer screenings statewide to women who are uninsured or underinsured, have a low income and meet program requirements. To qualify for a free mammogram, a woman must be 40 to 64, have a household income at or below 200% of the poverty level, have no health insurance and no symptoms, and have her primary residence in Florida.
