Free Santa photos in Ocala

Several 2026 events list free Santa photos. At the Ocala Holiday Craft Show, Expo 1 at World Equestrian Center, the organizer says photos are free, compliments of NewSouth Window Solutions, and the Grinch is also on the schedule. Santa is there Friday, Nov. 13, from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The photos are free, but the show is not: general admission is $10 for ages 13 and up, children 12 and under are free, and parking is free.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Marion Oaks Community Center at 294 Marion Oaks Ln hosts its Annual Holiday Extravaganza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with vendors, crafts, food trucks, live performances and free photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch. The next day, Sunday, Dec. 6, DJ Matt Gray's Ocala Christmas Festival runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ocala Downtown Market, 403 SE Osceola Ave, with free digital Santa pictures and, per the organizer, free admission and parking.

Santa also makes a special appearance in the Junior Sunshine holiday parade at Light Up Ocala on Saturday, Nov. 21, a free event in downtown Ocala from 3 to 8 p.m. that ends with the 6 p.m. lighting. The City of Ocala describes the appearance but does not list a photo setup. In Belleview, Light Up Lake Lillian on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 7 p.m. includes a visit from Santa, and the city lists free arts and crafts and children's activities.

Santa photos at Paddock Mall

Paddock Mall, at 3100 SW College Rd, runs a Santa's Workshop photo set with VIP Holiday Photos. The booking page lists the season as November 21 through December 24, 2026, with photo packages from $40. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday from Nov. 21 to Dec. 10, then 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday from Dec. 11 to 17; hours vary Dec. 18 to 24, so check the booking calendar.

The mall recommends advance reservations. VIP Holiday Photos accepts walk-ins but says it cannot guarantee a wait time and that booking early gets the discounted package price. Reserve on the VIP Holiday Photos Paddock Mall page. The mall's events page also lists Santa's $3,000 Stocking Giveaway (Nov. 1 to Dec. 22) alongside the Santa set. As of Nov. 2, the mall had not posted a separate Santa arrival event.

Breakfast with Santa and other seated visits

World Equestrian Center hosts Breakfast with Santa on four Saturdays: Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, 12 and 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. in Connor's Meeting Room at The Equestrian Manor, 1750 NW 80th Ave. The morning starts with a breakfast buffet, followed by storytime with Santa at 10 a.m. and photos with Santa and a gift at 10:15 a.m., plus holiday crafting and Christmas letter-writing stations. Tickets are $75 for adults and $30 for ages 6 to 12, with children 5 and under free with an adult ticket; taxes and online fees are extra, seating is limited and WEC recommends buying ahead. The breakfast is ticketed separately from WEC Winter Wonderland, where Santa also greets visitors in Indoor Arena 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday starting Nov. 27.

On Dec. 4-6 and 11-24, Cottom Farm's Christmas Village Nights add visits with Santa at Santa's Southern Home to a hayride, the Merry Market and kids' rides, from 6 to 9 p.m. for $12 per person (children 3 and under free).

Pet photos with Santa

Paddock Mall's Pet Photos with Santa are available on Mondays from November 23 through December 14, 2026: Nov. 23, Nov. 30, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14. The mall invites owners to bring their furry family members, from a new puppy to multiple pets, and recommends advance reservations through the same Santa's Workshop booking. The mall's page does not state a separate pet-photo price. No other Ocala pet-photo-with-Santa event with a 2026 primary page was found.

Deaf-friendly and sensory-friendly Santa visits

The Appleton Museum of Art hosts the second annual Signing Santa: A Deaf-Friendly Holiday Event on Sunday, Dec. 6, from noon to 2 p.m. at 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Santa and Mrs. Claus offer an American Sign Language experience for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, made possible with the Greater Marion County Association of the Deaf. Sensational Selfies takes photos on site; each guest receives one complimentary printed photo and a digital copy sent by text. The event is free and no reservation is required. As of Nov. 2, no sensory-friendly Santa session in Ocala had been found on a primary page, and Paddock Mall's Santa's Workshop and events pages do not list one. This section will be updated if a host announces one.

• The Silver Springs State Park page on Florida State Parks listed no Santa event.
